BinFit is an independent UK product-research project built to answer one practical question: will a wheelie bin store fit the bins and the space available?

Why BinFit exists

Bin stores are often described by capacity, model name or the number of bins they can hold. Those labels are useful for browsing, but they do not settle whether a particular product will work in a particular place. External dimensions, internal layout, door movement, lid clearance and the size of the bins all matter.

BinFit brings those details into a consistent comparison. The Fit Finder checks measurements entered by the user against recorded product specifications and identifies information that still needs manual confirmation.

What we do

• record dimensions and product details from named manufacturer or retailer sources;
• show the date on which each product record was checked;
• separate published facts from missing or unconfirmed information;
• exclude products that fail a known dimensional requirement;
• explain why a result may still require checking before purchase.

What we do not do

BinFit does not sell, deliver or install products. It does not inspect a property, certify an installation or guarantee that a product is suitable for every site condition. The retailer remains responsible for the sale and its own product information, while the user should confirm critical measurements and installation requirements before ordering.

How the website is funded

BinFit may earn a commission from clearly identified affiliate links. Commercial arrangements do not change dimensional fit rules, exclusion reasons or the treatment of missing data. More detail is available in the Affiliate Disclosure and Editorial Policy.
